Más allá de ser una acogedora librería con servicio de cafetería, el Traspatio es un proyecto de promoción y divulgación de la literatura y del quehacer editorial independiente que además se propone como un espacio de calidez donde la diversidad es valorada, donde el diálogo y la escucha son posibles. Con un excelente acervo en su biblioteca infantil y juvenil, talleres de literatura, cuentacuentos y otras actividades para niños y adolescentes, las dos mujeres que sostienen este proyecto saben que leer es detenerse y extender el tiempo; detenerlo todo para que todo, a su vez, ocurra. Así que, apostando por lectores más críticos y arriesgados, nos lanzan una invitación para acercarnos y formar parte de su creciente comunidad lectora.
Beyond being just a cozy bookshop and café, Traspatio is a project that promotes and distributes literature and the work of independent publishers, and that also aims to exist as a welcoming space where diversity is valued, dia- logue and listening are possible. With an excellent collection in its children’s and youth library, literature workshops, storytelling and other activities for children and teenagers, the two women that keep this project going know that reading is to stoping time; bringing everything to a halt so that, at the same time, anything can happen. So, they hope they’ll find more critical and adventurous bibliophiles, extending an invitation to stop by and become part of their growing community of readers.
