TALLER DE ARQUITECTURA Y DISEÑO
Crear espacios que sean producto de la reflexión, el diálogo y la inclusión de los detalles y que su identidad y sentido de pertenencia nos conecten a ellos, es la tarea que Daniela Bucio se ha propuesto cumplir desde el año 2016 cuando decidió fundar el Taller de Arquitectura y Diseño que lleva su nombre y que se especializa tanto en diseño arquitectónico como en construcción. Buscando dar realce a la mano de obra artesanal mexicana, implementando técnicas y sistemas constructivos vernáculos con elementos contemporáneos y persiguiendo un estilo atemporal, que le ha valido dos menciones honoríficas (una en la Bienal de Jóvenes Arquitectos y otra en el Abierto Mexicano de Diseño). Seguramente veremos mucho más de esta joven promesa.
Creating spaces that are the result of reflection, dialogue and attention to detail, such that their identity and sense of belonging connect us to them, that’s the task that Daniela Bucio has sought to achieve since 2016 when she decided to establish the Architecture and Design Workshop that bears her name and specializes in both architectural design as well as construction. She seeks to elevate Mexican artisanal work, implementing vernacular construction techniques and systems combined with contemporary elements while pursuing a timeless style, which has garnered her two honorable mentions (one in the Young Architects Biennial and another in the Mexican Design Open). Surely we’ll be seeing much more from this promising young woman.
